AS  YOUR  SOUL  PROSPERS

May 31, 2020                                    AS  YOUR  SOUL  PROSPERS
1 John 1:2 “Beloved, I wish above all things that you may prosper and be in health, even as your soul prospers.”
Psalm 42:11 “Why, my soul, are you downcast? Why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise Him, my Savior and my God.”
Matthew 22:37 “Jesus replies: ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.”
We may use the words soul and sprit interchangeably, but they are not the same. Someone defined the soul as “the animate life, or the seat of the senses, desires, affections and appetites.” “The spirit is that part of us that connects, or refuses to connect to God.” We are made up of three parts: spirit, soul and body. Most would agree, and it seems obvious that we place more emphasis on our physical bodies than we do on our spirit and soul. Certainly it is not wrong or displeasing to God to enjoy and embrace our physical lives and to take care of our bodies as we are temples of the Holy Spirit. 1 Corinthians 6:19. Today, let us be reminded that we have a soul, and that it needs to be nourished. In Genesis 2:7 we read “Then the Lord God formed man of dust from the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.” I must admit that I am not familiar with any writings and have not heard any teaching on how to nourish our souls. However, I think that we can glean some truths out of God’s word that will instruct us on how to be healthy in our soul. I Thessalonians 5:23 can serve as a good starting point for us: “Now, may the God of peace Himself sanctify you entirely; and may your spirit and soul and body be preserved complete, without blame at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.” Only by knowing God according to His word and knowing our true identity as His children are we made whole in spirit, soul and body. His presence in us touches every part of our being. Experiencing wholeness of soul is not automatic; we must know what God has said regarding who we are in Him, and we must then practice what He has said. How we choose to think is key in having and maintaining a healthy soul.  Proverbs 23:7 is a powerful verse in that it tells us that as we think in our heart, so are we. How we think and what we choose to think about has a direct impact on our soul. One of the most critical truths for us to cling to is that we must make the choice to put into action the teachings of God’s word and think as He would have us think whether our feelings or emotions ‘feel’ like it or not. Ephesians 4:23 instructs us to be renewed in the spirit of our mind-that is action on our part. In addition to how we think, hope is another element of being healthy in soul. Hope comes from what God has said and what He has promised for those who love Him. Again, we must make the choice to align our thoughts and actions with what God has said, regardless of our emotions and feelings and circumstances at the moment. We need to follow David’s example; his family had been captured by his enemies and he had suffered great loss, but he “encouraged himself in the Lord his God.” 1 Samuel 30:6. Much could be said about having a healthy soul, but in summary, let us take possession and dominion of our soul and align our thinking with what God says about us and about life as His sons and daughters. Lasting hope and hope that endures the storms of life comes only from the promises of God and His love for us. If our thinking, our self-talk, our beliefs, and our actions or rooted in who we are in Christ, our soul will be healthy.
Romans 15:13 “May the God of hope fill you with all joy peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.”

I  AM  THE  GOD  THAT  HEALS

May 28, 2020                                    I  AM  THE  GOD  THAT  HEALS
Psalm 103:2-5 “Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget none of His benefits; who pardons all your iniquities; who heals all your diseases;
Psalm 107:19-20 “Then they cried out to the Lord in their trouble; He saved them out of their distresses; He sent His word and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.”
No doubt we all have questions about why some are healed of sickness and why others are not healed and why some are delivered from trouble and others are not. These unanswered questions can cause us to doubt the goodness of God and can dampen our faith or even lead to depression. As we get into this subject, it is good for us to be ok with un-answered questions and not to have full understanding of some things. Also, we must know that how God defines healing and deliverance may be different than our limited definition of the same. With God’s help, I think and I pray that we can get beyond these questions of ‘Why God’. Let us settle one issue in our own understanding forever-the undisputable truth is that God is our healer-whether we understand it or not, or whether it fits our definition of healing or not. We must remain aware of the critical truth that God is the potter and we are the clay. Isaiah 64:8. And we must remember that God is so much bigger than our human comprehension; Isaiah 55:9 tells us “For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways and My thoughts than your thoughts.” We tend to think in the physical realm even though the spiritual realm is eternal and more real than what we see with our eyes. 2 Corinthians 4:18. Let us expand our belief and let us know deep within that God is our healer and that His coming and dying for us is our true healing. Even though we live in this fallen world at the present and even though we face trials and difficulties, we have been transferred to the kingdom of God and have been joined to Him. What I am about to say may sound absurd to some, but I think it is a critical part of the answer to the question as to why God does not always heal us when we ask Him for healing. God’s healing is whole; He heals our whole person-mind, body and soul; even in our sickness, God is our healer. God may heal instantly, or He may let us be healed through the natural processes of how He designed our bodies to recover from sickness or infection; and even to die from sickness is the perfect healing. So even as we may be lying in bed sick and though we may feel awful, we can at the same time know that whatever God is doing or allowing, He is our healer and we can experience His peace knowing that He loves us and cares for us. In our pain, we can also know that we have a destiny with Him and nothing can subvert His plans for us and His eternal purposes. So yes, we face troubles and trials here, but they are not without purpose, and they do not go unnoticed by our Father. We can pronounce and we can know in the deepest part of our being that God is our healer and He has already sent His word and His word heals us with a perfect healing; we were rescued from darkness and made whole and our life is in His hands.
Isaiah 41:10 “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”
3 John 1:2 “Beloved, I pray that in all respects you may prosper and be in good health, just as your soul prospers.”

Impacted and Motivated by the future

May 24, 2020                                  IMPACTED  AND  MOTIVATED  BY  THE  FUTURE
1Peter 1:3-6 “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His great mercy has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to obtain an inheritance which is imperishable and undefiled and will not fade away, reserved in heaven for you, who are protected by the power of God through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. In this you greatly rejoice, even though now for a little while, if necessary, you have been distressed by various trials, that the proof of your faith, being more precious than gold which is perishable, even though tested by fire, may be found to result in praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ.”
If we can believe, if we can see with our spiritual eyes, what is in store for us who trust Jesus as our Savior, our life here on earth will never be the same. Knowing what our future holds should be the major motivating force in our life. Peter Parris made an awesome statement when he said: “Let us be more affected by our future than by our past.” We now live in a world system that rejects any idea of there being a God, but we are no longer of this word, even though we live in it. We have “been born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus.”  Before we accepted Christ as our Savior, we were spiritually dead-the new us did not exist!  When we accept Jesus as Savior, we believe that our sins are forgiven and we believe we are going to heaven when we die, but there is so much more included in our salvation. We know salvation now, but when we see Jesus, we will marvel at just how fantastic our salvation really is. Certainly, our being born again has a major impact on our earthly life, but what is in store for us in the future is even greater. Do we know and can we believe that God has an inheritance waiting for us in heaven? This inheritance is imperishable and will not fade away! As we begin to believe and focus on what God has in store for us, we will ‘greatly rejoice,’ just as the early believers did. “Even though we may be ‘distressed by various trials,” our inheritance is sure. In the meantime, we are being protected by the power of God; God is watching over those who have an inheritance in heaven-not one of His loved ones will miss his or her reward. As we begin to believe and as we focus on what is in store for us when we see Jesus, we will ‘greatly rejoice’ just as the early believers did. Even though we may be ‘distressed by various trials’ here on earth, the promise we have from our Father regarding our future is our source of joy no matter our present circumstances. Because of our great salvation and the sure promises of God, we have a ‘living hope’ that does abate nor die. There is a great day coming for those who trust Jesus as Savior-a day beyond our wildest imagination! We are here on earth only ‘for a little while;’ while here, let us live with our inheritance in view, knowing that God is watching over us and we are being kept that we might soon receive our great inheritance-actually, we have already began to receive our inheritance.
Ephesians 1:13-14  “In Him, you also, after listening to the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation-having also believed, you were sealed in Him with the Holy Spirit of promise, who is given as a pledge of our inheritance, with a view to the redemption of God’s own possession, to the praise of His glory.”

I  AM NOTHING  WITHOUT  THIS

5/21/2020

May 21, 2020                              I  AM  NOTHING  WITHOUT  THIS
1 Corinthians 13:1-3 “If I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but do not have love, I have become a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. And if I have the gift of prophesy, and know all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith, so as to move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. And if I give all my possessions to feed the poor, and if I deliver my body to be burned, but do not lave love, it profits me nothing.”
1 John 4:7-8 “Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God. Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love.”
The word ‘love’ has many meanings. There are three basic types of love: eros, philia, and agape. Eros is a romantic love; philia refers to the love of family and friends; and agape love refers to the highest form of love that comes from God. 1 Corinthians 13 is known as the ‘love chapter’ and it is obviously referring to agape love; in this chapter, we get a view of genuine, pure love.  When we read this chapter, we are forced to evaluate the love we have with the love that is portrayed in this chapter. The best of human love fails in comparison to agape love. We may think that we are living in and expressing agape love, but often certain test of our love comes and we realize that our love did not measure up to the 1 Corinthians 13 love. When I get offended, or get angry, or selfish-or whatever, I am not operating in agape love. This is not to condemn us; but because God does love us, He allows circumstances that reveal our hearts; God is always drawing us to His love. The good news is that God did not refurbish our hearts when we came to know Him as Savior, but gave us new hearts. It is possible for us to continue to live out of our old heart, but it is also possible for us to live out of our new heart. This new heart God has given us is a heart of agape love. Romans 5:5 tells us that the “love of God has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit.” As often discussed in these blogs, it is critical that we discover our true identity as children of God if we are to live this life as God designed and as He desires. Discovering our identity certainly involves reading His word in order to discover who He says we are, but it requires more than reading His word; it also requires the Holy Spirit revealing to us the truth of His word. The verses above are sobering; we are told that if we do not love, we do not know God-because God IS love! Again, 1 Corinthians 13 was not given to us to condemn us, but to show us the love that God has poured into our hearts and to give us clear examples of what His love looks like in action. Eros love and philia love are common among man, but basically, these two types of live are self-centered. (We like the way others make us feel.) Agape love on the other hand is a giving love, not based on the actions of others; it is a compassionate love, concerned with the well-being of others. May God reveal to each of us the great love He has for us and let each of us be awakened to the fact that God has poured His love into our hearts.
1 Corinthians 13:4-8a “Love is patient, love is kind, and is not jealous; love does not brag and is not arrogant, does not act unbecomingly; it does not seek its own, is not provoked, does not take into account a wrong suffered, does not rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails;”

BE  RENEWED

5/17/2020

May 18, 2020                                             BE  RENEWED
Ephesians 4:22-24 “that, in reference to your former manner of life, you lay aside the old self, which is being corrupted in accordance with the lust of deceit, and that you be renewed in the spirit of your mind, and put on the new self, which is in the likeness of God has been created in righteousness and holiness and truth.”
These passages of scripture are packed with amazing truths that center around the new creations we are in Christ Jesus. Also, these verses serve as another example of how we must make choices in walking in Him, and experiencing the new creations we are; God has made it possible for us to walk in our new identity, but we must make the choice to do so. This is where the battle takes place-making the choice to walk either in our ways, or in His ways. Even though Proverbs 14:12 may primarily apply to the one who does not know God, it can serve as a warning for believers that living according to our old self, the flesh, leads to spiritual death: “There is a way that seems right to man, but its end is the way of death.”  Note that we are told to simply “lay aside the old self.” It is a major step forward for us when we realize that we have the power to ‘lay aside’ our old self, and put on the new self. Colossians 3. In verse 23 above, we are admonished to be renewed in the spirit of our mind; that indeed is the battle ground. Everything we hear and see in this world system tells us to think according to the ways of the world, which is primarily rooted in self. A quick observation of the world around us gives clear evidence that the ways of the world lead to loss and death. But the grand news for us as believers is that we have the power and the ability to be renewed in the spirit of our mind and to put on our new self-that is awesome news for us! We all know what it is like to find ourselves dwelling on thoughts that are not of God and we have all experienced the sour fruit of such thinking. Also, we know that the seemingly never ending routines of everyday life and the challenges we face, can rob us of newness; before we even realize it, we find ourselves ‘just living life as it comes.’ God is life, God is creative, God is all about newness-AND our new self has been made in the likeness of God! Can we believe that? We no longer have to live in boredom, in fear, in doubt, in selfishness, or whatever-we can now live in newness-we can think differently. Even mowing the lawn, washing the dishes, or going to work-can all be done with a renewed mind. Even in difficulties and trials, we can respond with a renewed mind; living with a renewed mind does not mean that everything is rosy.  Perhaps the major point of this, and most of my blogs, is that we need to live with the mind-set and awareness that living the Christian life according to God’s design is a super-natural life, and that God has done a super-natural work in us by making us new creations.
Colossians 3:2 “Set your mind on things above, and not on things that are on the earth.”
Colossians 3:23 “whatsoever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not to men;”

EMBRACING  THE TRIAL - AND  KEEP  REJOICING

5/14/2020

May 14, 2020                         EMBRACING  THE  TRIAL –KEEP  ON  REJOICING
1 Peter 4:12:  “Beloved, do not be surprised at the fiery ordeal among you, which comes upon you for your testing, as though some strange thing were happening to you; but to the degree that you share the sufferings of Christ, keep on rejoicing, so at the revelation of His glory, you may rejoice with exultation.”
I don’t know about you, but I do not like trials and conflicts-never have. In fact, most of us do our best to live a life free of conflict and trials.  Peter is primarily referring to the “fiery ordeals” that come because of their commitment to follow Christ. In our day and time, in America, we do not yet see a lot of suffering as the result of being Christian-if things continue on their present course, we will see an increase in suffering that takes place for following Christ. In this article I want to talk about trials, conflicts, and suffering in a broad sense. Some trials we face are of our own making; self- inflicted, a result of bad decisions, and has nothing to do with our being a Christian.   Some trials come from things beyond our control. Regardless of the origin of our trials and no matter the severity of the trials; how we face or respond to the trials and “fiery ordeals” is crucial. Every human being will have to deal with trials-some more than others it seems, so we should not be surprised when they come. We should not live life thinking that we will not have trials; we should not be surprised when they come our way.  Trials are not random events that just happen and there is a purpose behind the trials. Trials have a way of exposing our heart and they reveal our level of trust that we have in our Father-trials do indeed test us. While we do not like the trial, what we learn in the trial and how we do on the test is the good fruit that comes from the trial. Verse 13 goes on to say: “but to the degree that you share the sufferings of Christ, keep on rejoicing so that at the revelation of His glory, you may rejoice with exultation.” The idea of rejoicing in suffering may sound contradictory to us, but if we understand that our suffering in some way brings glory to God, then we can rejoice. Also, if we suffer because of our faith, we will have every reason to “rejoice with exultation” when Jesus appears.  It may be minor by comparison, but we will encounter some suffering-some resistance-if we are being a witnesses in a dark world because we will come across those who reject anything and anyone connected to God. It is our place not to fear suffering, but to embrace all that our Father allows in our life-including suffering and trials. We can be assured that the trials have a purpose and we can be assured that our Father will not forsake us.
James 1:12: “Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love Him.”
James 1:2-3: “Consider it all joy, my brethren, when you encounter various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance.”
Psalms 34:17-18: “When the righteous cry for help, the Lord hears and delivers them out of all their troubles. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit.

MANY  BUT  ONE

5/11/2020

May 11, 2020                                          MANY  BUT  ONE
Romans 12:4-5 “For just as we have many members in one body and all the members do not have the same function, so we, who are many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another.”
Ephesians 4:15-16 “but speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in all aspects into Him, who is the head, even Christ, from whom the whole body, being fitted, and being held together by that which every joint supplies, according to the proper working of each individual part, causes the growth of the body for the building up of itself in love.”
We must be alert to the fact that most of us tend to have an independent spirit. This tendency toward having an independent spirit runs counter to being a functioning member of the body of Christ, the church. Let me say at the beginning, just to clarify, that in one sense it is good to be independent; we should not expect others to do for us what we should do-you get my point. However, God has designed it in such a way that we as individual believers, need each other, if we are to grow and mature in the faith. The truth is that none of us are complete within ourselves. Each member of the body of Christ has been given a particular spiritual gift or gifts, and it is through the expressions of these various gifts that we grow and mature and become complete. What each member supplies to the body is what holds the body together. The obvious message for us is that we need the body and the body needs us-that’s the way God designed it. The follow up obvious message for each of us is that because we need each other, we are to be a part of the body-to be engaged in the body, the church. This is where the independent spirit so often surfaces. It may sound legalistic, but we need to be committed to being a part of the church gathering-not trying to earn God’s approval, but because we are needed there and we need the input and interactions of others. Tuning in to a television church service is good for those who are home-bound, but it is no substitute for being a part of the meeting together of believers. (It’s another subject, but you and I need to be a part of a church where the gospel is proclaimed and where there is a desire to be the church that God designed.) God works in and through us individually, but He also works in and through the church. The scriptures tell us that God has appointed certain members in the church for certain functions, but it also makes it clear that every member has a place in the body. “And He gave some as apostles, and some as prophets, and some as evangelist, and some as pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of service, for the building up of the body of Christ; until we all attain to the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a mature man, to the measure of the stature which belongs to the fullness of Christ.” Ephesians 4:11-13. Concerning body life, there will likely be those that we are not naturally drawn to and there will likely be opportunity for conflict and disagreement; however, we are still called to be engaged in body life, and learning how to love and accept one another, and even appreciate one another in spite of our differences. Let us adjust our thinking if need be and let us see that God has chosen to work through His church, in spite of its imperfections at the present, and let us not neglect being an active participant in the body. Whether we know it or not, you and I are needed in the body of Christ.
Hebrews 10:24-25 “and let us consider how to stimulate one another to love and good deeds, not forsaking our own assembling together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the day drawing near.”

BEARING  GOOD  FRUIT

5/8/2020

May 8, 2020                                             BEARING  FRUIT
John 15:8 “By this is My Father glorified, that you bear much fruit, and so prove to be My disciples.
Galatians 5:22-23 “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.”
Colossians 1:10 “So as to walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to Him, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God.”
Everyone is producing fruit, but the question is what kind of fruit is being produced and will it last. When God created man in His own image, He put within man the desire to be productive-just as He Himself is productive. Along the way, many have listened to the lie that leads one to see ‘work’ in a negative light; that work robs us of the freedom to do what we want to do. The question is what is the fruit that we are to be bearing and how do we go about bearing the fruit that God has in mind. I am sure most of us have looked back over a certain time period of our lives and are dismayed when we see no lasting good fruit of all our busyness. As believers, we are blessed to be able to be about bearing good fruit and fruit that remains. In fact, everything we do can be an aspect of bearing good fruit. We can be like the tree that bears good fruit-not through its own effort but just because of how God made it, it bears fruit. Out of our relationship with our Father and out of living according to His design, we naturally bear good fruit. Our relationship with our Father is active and on-going; coming to know God as our Savior and Father was not the end, but the beginning. A major concept for us to know and understand is that we are to work with God as He works in us; in other words, we anticipate His working in us and we gladly choose to follow His leading.  Some define their activities as either ‘spiritual’ or ‘secular,’ but to do is a mistake and is in contradiction to scriptures. The good news for us is that all we do can have the stamp of being a good work or a work that bears good fruit. Colossians 3:23 instructs us: “Whatever you do, do your work heartily as for the Lord rather than for men.” Proverbs 3:6 tells us “In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths.” The beauty of this is that all we do has value if it is done as unto the Lord; even what appears to us to be a menial task or mundane takes on new meaning when we do it as unto Him. The awesome truth is that both the CEO of a large corporation and the one that washes the dishes glorifies God when they perform their duties ‘as unto the Lord.’ No matter our plight in life, no matter our circumstances, we will experience blessings from the Lord when we have the mindset that we will be about bearing fruit that glorifies Him and doing all we do as unto Him. As we do, we will be ‘walking in a manner worthy of the Lord’ and ‘will be fully pleasing to Him’ and ‘will be bearing good fruit.’ And, you might call it a secondary blessing, but as we go about bearing fruit as unto Him, we increase in the knowledge of God!
Ephesians 2:10 “For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them.”
Blessings,
Buddy

NEWNESS  OF  LIFE

5/5/2020

May 5, 2020                                           NEWNESS  OF  LIFE
Romans 6:4-7! “Therefore we have been buried with Him through baptism into death, in order that as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we too might walk in newness of life. For if we have become united with Him in the likeness of His death, certainly we shall be also in the likeness of His resurrection, knowing this, that our old self was crucified with Him, that our body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves to sin; for he who has died is freed from sin.”
Sometime we are slow to get it-at least I am. It is one thing to know something in our mind, but it is something else getting what we ‘know’ into our spirit. There is nothing more unfulfilling than trying to live the Christian life out of a mental agreement or acceptance of the scriptures without having the truth of the scriptures embedded in our spirit. Obviously, we are to use our minds to learn and to study the scriptures, but we need the Holy Spirit to make real in our spirits what we learn as we read and study. Today’s verses are a good example of this. The vast majority of believers would readily agree that they have been crucified with Christ, and have even been baptized; the water baptism is a picture of being buried with Christ. The key point of being buried with Him is that our old self-who we use to be-has died! I think that is the part we often do not get. We have difficulty in believing and embracing the fact that the old us, the sin nature we had, has been crucified with Christ. (Without going into detail-we can still sin, but we do so by choice, not because it is our nature to sin since we have been given a new nature.) There is a second key point we must not miss; note that the verse above says that “If we have become untied with Him in the likeness of His death,” The word if is an important word. Jesus accomplished all He needed to accomplish for us to walk in newness, but we have a part in the process, and that part is believing, receiving, accepting it as so that our old nature was has been crucified, that the body of sin has been done away with, and that we have been freed from sin-all because we have died! Seeing ourselves as sinners is in opposition to seeing ourselves being freed from sin. Can we grasp the fact that our old man has died and that we do not have to sin? Here is the good news: just as Christ did not remain in the tomb, neither did we when we were crucified with Him! But, it was not our old self that was raised up, but the new us. This is difficult to digest, but our being raised up is in the likeness of His resurrection. As a result of us being crucified and buried with Christ and being freed from sin, we can walk in newness of life! Isn’t that what we all want-newness? We no longer have to battle with sin, we no longer have to ‘try our best’ to do the right thing, and we can get off the spiritual roller coaster. This is not all pie-in-the sky theology-it’s real. I think it all boils down to us accepting, believing, and walking in the truth about what these scriptures tell us about our being buried with Christ and sharing in His resurrection; we may not totally understand it, but that does not mean that we cannot receive it as true. May the Holy Spirit reveal to us the fact that our old self has been crucified and we have been raised in newness. Proclaiming and choosing to walk in our newness is a day by day choice, also known as walking according to the Spirit.
Romans 6:11 “So you must consider yourselves dead to sin and alive to God in Christ Jesus.
Galatians 2:20 “I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.”
