FILLED

February 27, 2020                                                FILLED
Romans 15:13 “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.”
Ephesians 3:19 “and to know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled up to all the fullness of God.”
Philippians 1:11 “having been filled with the fruit of righteousness which comes through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God.
Ephesians 5:18 “And do not get drunk with wine, for that is debauchery, but be filled with the Spirit,”
Just getting by is not what God has in mind for us; God is about completeness, fullness, abundance, over-flow, abounding-about being filled. What God has in mind for us becomes a reality because He has given us His Spirit to make it possible. We block or inhibit what God has for us when we try to do the things of God in our own strength-our most likely spiritual downfall is just that-it’s our old human nature trying to do things in our own strength. We tend to think that we must work at ‘getting better’ in our spiritual life-like it is up to us; perhaps we have bought into the world’s idea of ‘self-improvement.’ Let us not forget that the Christian life is a super-natural life, and this super-natural life is not compatible with life as defined by the world. The Christian life is a miraculous life; the fact that the God of all creation sends His Spirit to live in flesh and bones is indeed a miracle! By the Spirit of God, we are made a new species of man! Think about it. The Holy Spirit of God is in us, empowering, equipping and guiding us in this life here on earth-that is awesome. Now, our minds, our spirits, and even our bodies are powered by the Spirit of God. Because His Spirit lives in us, we no longer have to live with anxiety, depression, fear, loneliness, a life without purpose and hope, etc. Simply said, we do not have to see life and experience life as those who do not know God. A truly WOW verse is Ephesians 3:19 which tells us that we can be “filled up to all the fullness of God.” Can you and I even begin to imagine the implications of being filled to all the fullness of God? Being filled with the Spirit of God is the doorway to a life that only God can make real. Being filled to all the fullness of God impacts evert aspect of our life-how we respond to others, how we conduct our every day affairs, our thought life, how we worship God-everything. What we must realize is that being filled with the Spirit is not automatic for the believer. In Ephesians we are admonished to be ‘filled with the Spirit.’ When we are filled with the Spirit, we do not live according to the flesh. We are filled with the Spirit when we confess any unconfessed sin, when we turn our hearts to Him, when we seek Him first, and when we yield everything to Him. The point is that if we are not living with a conscience awareness of the fullness of God, it’s not because that is the life God desires for us. God invites us, and makes it possible, for us to be filled with Him! He wants to live in and through us! He longs to fill us. So, let us take a spiritual inventory and determine whether or not we are filled to all the fullness of God. If we find we are not, then let us confess that to Him and then turn our hearts to Him, asking Him to fill us; let us renew ourselves with His word and by listening to and obeying His Spirit. He wants to fill us.
John 14:26 “But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, he will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you.”
John 10:10 “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly.”

HAVE  YOU  NOT  HEARD ?

February 24, 2020                                  HAVE  YOU  NOT  HEARD ?
Isaiah 40:28-31 “Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth does not become weary or tired. His understanding is inscrutable. He gives strength to the weary, and to him who lacks might He increase power. Though youths grow weary and tired, and vigorous young men stumble badly, yet those who wait for the Lord will gain new strength; they will mount up with wings like eagles, they will run and not get tired, they will walk and not become weary.”
If you believe the Bible is the word of God and you want to be encouraged, then read Isaiah 40. We are constantly bombarded with all that is wrong in the world and each of us has been touched in some way with trails and troubles. Because evil and strife seems to be un-checked in the world, many have reached the erroneous conclusion that there is no God, or God is not good, or He is not in control. Isaiah 40 puts everything in right perspective. God’s ways are inscrutable; He is the Creator of everything; nothing or no one can be compared to God; He sits above the vault of the earth; and He does not become weary or tired. As believers, we must not become focused on what is taking place in the world around us but focus on the fact that God rules and He has a purpose in all that He allows; nothing can thwart His plans and purposes. We may feel overwhelmed with the trials we face and may find ourselves wondering where God is in all of this. We certainly do not fully understand, but God is using the chaos, the brokenness, the evil, wars, and strife to further His purposes, and there will be a time when we stand in awe as we see His purposes fulfilled and all of creation will give Him glory. If we focus on the world, we will become weary and tired; yet, if we focus on Him and His purposes, we will not grow weary or tired, but will gain new strength! We will mount up with wings like eagles! This may sound too good to be true, but even when there seems to be no way, we came gain new strength, we can soar, and we can rejoice in our God who rules everything. God does not forget out plight; He knows our suffering. God is for us. In Isaiah 41:14b God tells us: “I will help you,” “your Redeemer is the Holy One of Israel.” All though Isaiah was written to the children of Israel, it is a picture, or a foreshadow of what takes place under the new and better New Covenant that was inaugurated by Jesus. Today, God does bless in physical ways, but even more importantly, He deals with us in ways that go beyond the physical-He blesses us in spiritual ways. Even though we have a physical body, we have been made spiritual beings who can relate with our Father who is in heaven. The good news is that being alive spiritually also benefits our physical life. We can now join in with what God is doing, in a much grander purpose, and not be defeated or discouraged by what is taking place in the world. Don’t misunderstand; we are not called to ignore the suffering and chaos in the world, but are called to be good stewards and ambassadors of God, to be light; but above all, let us make sure that we have heard the good news.
Colossians 1:16-17 “For in Him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through Him and for Him. He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together.”
Hebrews 4:13 “Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of Him to whom we must give account.”

GREATER  THAN WE  KNOW  OR  THINK

February 21, 2020                        GREATER  THAN  WE  KNOW OR  THINK
John 20:17b “I ascend to My Father and your Father, and My God and your God.”
Mathew 6:61a “But when you pray go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father….”
Matthew 6:26 “Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and your heavenly Father feeds them.”                                                                                                                                        As believers, there are two things that tend to happen naturally that we must guard against. First, we may become so familiar with a particular scripture we are reading, we tend to have the thought of “I know what this scripture is saying,” and we go on to the next verse. The second thing we must guard against, and it is more subtle, is that reading the scripture becomes our goal. Rather, our goal should be that we are changed, impacted or encouraged as a result of reading the scriptures-not just read the scriptures then go our way. We must remember that His words ARE life and that He gave us His word that we might know Him, that we might find wisdom and instruction for life. Hebrews 4:1 tells us that “the word of God is living and powerful.” And, as we read His word, we must be conscience of the fact that His written word is super-natural, not human wisdom or logic. With that being the background, let us move on to the topic for today. If you have read many of my blogs, you will note that there is a lot written on the subject of God being our Father. It is one thing to believe in our mind one hundred percent that God is our Father-after all, all Christians believe that-it’s a cornerstone Christianity. However, when by revelation from God, we come to know in the deepest part of our being-mind, soul and spirit-that the God of creation is OUR Father, everything changes-and the change is fantastic. We are not here by accident or by chance-we are here because God fathered us! He knew us when we were but substance in our mother’s womb. Jeremiah 1:5. How awesome is that? Humanly, we can’t even begin to imagine that, but His Spirit can reveal that truth to us, and when He does, it’s absolutely life changing. When we come to know God, when we are awakened to the fact that He is our Father, we realize that there is nothing to fear or dread or to worry about. Really!  God is not our Father in theory only, He is our real Father and it has practical implications. If you have not yet come to this wonderful realization in your spiritual journey, ask God to reveal to you personally that He is your Father. Take time to meditate on this profound truth, pray about it, and search the scriptures to discover what God says about Him being our Father. Knowing and relating to God as our Father is not a one-time deal; there is an initial time of coming to know Him as Father, but it is also a life time experience and we continually grow in our understanding of Him. May each of us come to the knowledge that God is OUR Father.
1 John 3:1a “See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called the children of God!
Isaiah 64:8 “But now, O Lord, you are our Father; we are the clay, and you are our potter; we are all the work of your hand.”
Matthew 6:8 “Your Father knows what you need before you ask Him.”

WALKING  IN  THE  LIGHT

2/18/2020

February 18, 2020                                 WALKING  IN  THE  LIGHT
1 John 1:5-7, 2:5-6 “And this is the message we have heard from Him and announce to you, that God is light, and in Him there is no darkness at all. If we say that we have fellowship with Him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth; but if we walk in the light as He Himself is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin.”    “but whoever keeps His word in him the love of God has truly been perfected. By this we know that we are in Him: the one who says he abides in Him ought himself to walk in the same manner as he walked.”
The good news for believers is that even though we live in a dark world where there is strife, brokenness, corruption, deviant behavior, lawlessness on every hand, we can nonetheless walk in the light. Walking in darkness has dire consequences-so it is extremely good news to know that we do not have to walk in darkness. Jesus came to announce and demonstrate that God IS light and there is no darkness in Him at all. Being in Christ is our hope and the provision for our walking in the light; Colossians 1:13 tells us: “He has delivered us from the domain of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son.”  God gives each believer the Holy Spirit for a reason: the Spirit empowers us, equips us, leads us into truth, convicts us when we are wrong, and guides us in the ways of the Lord. It is only by the Spirit that we can walk in the light in the midst of darkness. The above verse has a strong admonition, or warning for us; if we claim to be rightly related to God and say we are having fellowship with Him, and yet walk in darkness, we lie. We walk in the light only when we walk according to the Spirt-according to the ways of God-because He is in us and we are in Him. When we walk in the light, we are reflecting the light of God; our actions point to our Father who is light. It’s very simple; we can make the choice to obey the Spirit of God, choose to do the things that please our Father-that’s walking in the light. For example, if I have a neighbor who needs my help in some way, and I help that neighbor, I’m walking in the light; if I do not help, I’m walking in darkness. There are countless examples of walking in the light verses walking in darkness-you get the point. There is no better way for us to start each day by acknowledging to God and to ourselves that today we will walk in the light and will actively look for ways to ‘let our light shine.’ Walking in the darkness also has a detrimental effect on our relationship with others, while walking in the light enhances our relationship with others. We can walk in the light “because the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin.” The forgiveness of sins open the door to walking in the light, enjoying fellowship with other believers and with God-thank God for that. Keeping the words of Jesus (because we love Him) is proof-positive that His love has been perfected in us-that is the acid test. Finally, because we have been forgiven of sin, have been transferred to His kingdom, and have the Spirit of God living in us, we can now “walk in the same manner as He walked.” That is an awesome reality for us! Yes! We can live life-we can walk as Jesus walked! Saying that ‘I’m not Jesus’ is used as an excuse to walk in the darkness. Reject any lie or argument that says ‘we are just saved sinners who still sin, unable to live as Jesus lived.’ Explore the wonderful truths in the above verses and starting now, let us walk in the light as He is in the light!
Philippians 4:9 “The things you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you.”
Psalm 56:13 “For you have delivered me from death and my feet from stumbling, that I may walk before God in the light of life.”
Matthew 5:14a, 16  “You are the light of the world.”   “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.”

THE  HOUNDS  OF  HEAVEN

2/15/2020

February 15, 2019                                   THE  HOUNDS  OF  HEAVEN
Psalm 23:6 “Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.”
Years ago I heard or read a sermon titled the ‘Hounds of Heaven’ and recently I have been reminded of that message. As you know, hound dogs, or blood hounds pursue whatever they are after, whether it be a rabbit or fox or whatever. Someone has said that when a blood hound picks up the scent of something he wants to pursue, his nose goes down and his ears go off-once he’s on the trail, he no longer pays attention to anyone’s voice. That’s the idea of the word ‘follow’ in the above verse. The Greek word for follow as used in Psalm 23:6 is ‘Katadioko’ and is defined as ‘to follow up or closely, with the determination to find, the idea of a hard persistent search.’ (I’m not a Greek scholar-I had to look the word up). With this understanding of the word ‘follow’ as used in Ps 23, we can rightly say that ‘goodness and mercy’ are the hounds of heaven! I believe that as we get older, because we have a longer life to look back over, we have the opportunity to see that surely-goodness and mercy have pursued us. But no matter our age, young or old, to know that God is always desiring to show us goodness and mercy is a truth that should turn our hearts to Him. As this sermon came to mind, so did the song we use to often sing “Surely Goodness and Mercy.” Here are a few words from that hymn: ‘the kind Shepherd found me,’ ‘He restoreth my soul when I’m weary, He giveth me strength day by day; He leads me beside the still waters.’ The idea of goodness and mercy pursuing us may cause one to think that we will never experience difficulties and trials-not true. The good news is that no matter what circumstances we may face, God is for us and it is His desire and His ability to show us ‘goodness and mercy’ in all situations-that’s how great He is. There is some clarification needed: it’s true that God is always desiring to bless us, even when we are pursuing our on ways over pursuing Him; and it is also true that the one who’s heart is turned to the Lord and he or she is walking in His ways, will experience His goodness and mercy in ways that the one who is not pursuing Him will experience. I think that the main thing for us is to know in the deepest part of our being that God is good and the greatest pursuit in our life should be that of pursuing Him. The greatest and highest reality to experience in all of life is that of us pursuing God and God pursuing us. God has already unleashed the hounds of heaven, and these hounds never tire and they never give up! Beware-You and I are being pursued!  The hounds have picked up our scent.
Lamentations 3:25 “The Lord is good to those who wait for Him, to the soul who seeks Him.”
Psalm 145:9; 34:8 “The Lord is good to all, and His tender mercies are over all His works.”  “Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the man who trusts in Him!”
Psalm 139:16-17 “Thine eyes have seen my unformed substance; and in Thy book they were all written, the days that were ordained for me, when as yet there was not one of them. How precious also are Thy thoughts to me, O God! How vast is the sum of them.”

CONTINUALLY  SOWING

2/12/2020

February 12, 2020                                     CONTINUALLY  SOWING
Galatians 5:13 “For you were called to freedom, brethren; only do not turn your freedom into an opportunity for the flesh, but through love, serve one another.”  Galatians 6:7-9 “Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, this will he also reap. For the one who sows to his own flesh shall from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit shall from the Spirit reap eternal life. And let us not loose heart in doing good, for in due time we shall reap if we do not grow weary.”
It’s an undeniable fact, we sow all the time; the obvious important point is that we should be sure that we are sowing good seed. This reminds me of my failed turnip crop. Last year, I planted turnip seeds in well prepared soil, but never reaped the first bunch of turnips-the only explanation was that the seeds were bad. As believers, we have the opportunity to spend our lives sowing good seeds-seeds that will produce a good harvest-what a blessing to be able to do so! I’m sure we all have at times have known what it is like to reap a bad harvest from seed we have sown. The verses above hold a tremendous promise for those who sow according to the Spirit and who do not grow weary in sowing. If not careful, we can grow weary when we do not see the results or outcome we would like to see even though we have sown good seed. The motivation for sowing must be that it pleases our Father; we leave the outcome of our sowing up to Him; often, God is at work in a person’s life even though we it may not be obvious to us. At the heart of sowing is the desire to serve and bless others; selfishness thwarts our sowing into the lives of others. We can sow to our own flesh-being focused on self-but as we read above, sowing to our flesh leads to corruption; on the other hand, sowing to the Spirit results in life.  When we walk, or live, according to the Spirit (as opposed to living according to our self) the life we live and the things we do flow out of our relationship with our Father, and our life takes on the resemblance of the life of Jesus. Jesus came to express the heart of the Father; the Father sent His Son out of a heart to redeem and to bless and to give. When we are rightly related to our Father and when we know our true identity in Him, we will be about expressing the Father’s heart just as Jesus did. Sowing to the Spirit is primarily about listening to and obeying the Holy Spirit who lives in us, equipping us and guiding us in everyday life. There are countless ways to sow to the Spirit; He may lead us to do a good deed for someone, give to meet a need, write a note or speak a word of encouragement, visit the sick, and etc. Another way to sow to the Spirit internally is by studying the word of God, by renewing our mind to the ways of God, and in general, by walking according to the Spirit. Let us be reminded that we are always sowing and let us be sure we are sowing to the Spirit. The closing verse below is a verse of awesome promises for the ones that sow according to the Spirit. Take time to meditate on this verse.
2 Corinthians 9:10 “Now He who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will supply and multiply your seed for sowing and increase the harvest of your righteousness.”

WALKING  AS  HE  WALKED

2/9/2020

February 9, 2020                           WALKING  AS  HE  WALKED
1 John 2:5-6 “but whoever keeps His word, in him the love of God has truly been perfected. By this we know that we are in Him:   verse 6 “the one who says he abides in Him ought himself to walk in the same manner as He walked.”
Verse six above may be the most difficult verse in the New Testament for believes to actually believe, and that it applies to them. That is true because for a long time, we have not been exposed to the complete gospel message. Mainly, we have heard that ‘Yes, we have been saved and we are going to heaven when we die, but we still have a sin nature and we still sin.” This line of thought has penetrated the minds and thoughts of many well-meaning leaders and Christendom in general. One of the central truths of the scriptures, and particular the writings of Paul, has been over looked, misinterpreted, or out-right rejected by many, having a detrimental impact on the lives of countless believers. The tragedy is that by missing this central truth of the gospel, one has no alternative to living life beneath his or her privilege as a child of God. To make my point, do you or I feel a little uncomfortable saying that we can walk as Jesus walked? We probably do. Many pages could be written on this subject, but hopefully what is said here will spur us on to search out the scriptures to see if we have missed a major truth that God has plainly spoken. It’s difficult to know where to start, but one basic truth of scripture is that we have been made new-not refurbished; we have been given a new spirit, a new mind, and a new heart. Paul makes it abundantly clear that the power of sin over us has been broken; we no longer have to sin-we can live without sinning. (This is not about sinless perfection.) We can choose to walk according to the Spirit, and not according to the flesh. We have the power to lay aside any sin that would entrap us. Scripture tells us that we have the mind of Christ. Many believe that what Paul said in Romans 7 was his testimony when he said that ‘He did the very things that he did not want to do’ (sin). That was not Paul’s testimony; Paul was describing life in the flesh, what his life was like before He came to know the fullness of Christ; in chapter eight, Paul gives thanks to God for delivering him form life in the flesh. We could go on for a long time with this line of thought, but for now, let us open our hearts and minds, and search out the truth of the scriptures regarding what it means to be made new, to have the power to say no to sin, and to be joined to God. Do not let our pre-conceived ideas, our filters, and beliefs blind us to the truth. The salvation we have in Christ is greater than we now know. We have been raised with Christ and now have the opportunity to walk in newness, with power over sin. If we sin, we do so by choice-not because Christ in us is insufficient. If you do not currently believe that you can walk as Jesus walked, reject that as false and believe that you can walk in His ways, pleasing Him in all you do.
Colossians 2:10a “and in Him you have been made complete,”
Romans 6:1-2, 12 “What shall we say then? Are we to continue in sin so that grace may increase? May it never be! How shall we who died to sin still live in it?”   “Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body, that you should obey it in its lusts.”

GOD  DOES  NOT  REMEMBER

2/6/2020

February 6, 2020                            GOD  DOES  NOT  REMEMBER
Hebrews 8:12 “For I will be merciful to their iniquities, and I will remember their sins no more.”
Psalm 103:12 “As far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us.”
There is a time when having a bad memory is a good thing. I would think that the most common challenge for many believers is that of the memory of past sins. We believe that God has forgiven us, yet we can be haunted by our past sins and failures.  It is often our pride that stands in the way of receiving the full forgiveness that God lovingly extends to us. It is a good day when we readily confess that yes, we have sinned against God in the past; when we do this, we are agreeing with the scriptures that tell us that all have sinned. Romans 3:23. We must also remember that Jesus came to save sinners and to seek and save the lost. Luke 19:10, 5:32. It is amazing that God has said that He will remember our sins no more-He has chosen not to remember! God has the absolute power to choose not to remember. As humans, I’m not sure we have the ability to totally erase what is in our memory bank; however, at the same time, I believe that the Holy Spirit enables us to process our memory in such a way that it does not defeat us when we remember a sin(s) of the past. In fact, the memory of a past sin can bring some benefit if we use the thought of past sins as a springboard to remind us and cause us to thank God for His forgiveness toward us. I believe that the primary factor that fueled the early church was the good news that Jesus came and gave His life that sins might be forgiven. Someone said that “We all need a hall of shame,” and that is true if taken in the right light. As sons and daughters of God, we no longer live in shame, but it is healthy to remember that were sinners, but now have been forgiven and restored. So, if the memory of past (or present) sins is defeating us or condemning us, let us agree that we did indeed sin, but also agree and confess that God has forgiven us of all sin and He has no recollection of our past sins! We don’t need to fear the memory of past sins, but when they appear out of nowhere in our mind, simply reject them as irrelevant, reminding Satan that our sins are forgiven. There is freedom in being willing to confess to the whole world if need be, that yes, I have sinned-BUT I have confessed my sin and God has forgiven me. To the extent that we can, let us also remember our sins no more-they are gone! Peter Parris had a good word when he said: “Let us be more defined by our future than by our past.”
Isaiah 43:25 “I, even I, am He who blots out your transgressions, for my own sake, and remembers your sins no more.”
Colossians 1:1-14 “For He has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son He loves, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.”

THE  SIMPLE  TRUTH

2/3/2020

February 3, 2020                               THE  SIMPLE  TRUTH
John 14:23-24 “Jesus answered and said to him, ‘If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him, and make Our abode with him. He who does not love Me does not keep my words; and the word which you hear is not Mine, but the Father’s who sent Me.’”
When you think about it, what Jesus is saying in these two verses is amazing, but the central point Jesus is making is often missed. We hear so much about how we need to be more dedicated to God, how we need to be ‘closer’ to God, how we should pray more and read God’s word more, be more faithful at attending church, and etc. All of these things have a place, but at the same time can be a diversion from the truth of what is found in these and many other verses. The truth that is essential to understand if we are going to experience life as God designed, is to know that love for God produces certain fruit. The amazing thing that is so simple, yet often overlooked, is that when we truly love God, we will keep His word, and we will do the things that please Him. Love for God takes us out of the ‘I ought to’ mode. A genuine love for God liberates us, sets us free to be who God designed us to be, and frees us from the burden of trying to keep His word. Loving God keeps us off of the spiritual roller coaster. We are not subjects or slaves of God trying to please Him in our own strength; we are sons and daughters of God whom He greatly loves. In our culture, the word ‘love’ is often lightly used and has many meanings. The love Jesus is talking about is a super-natural love that comes from God. (For a clear picture of the love of God, see 1 Corinthians 13.) Romans 5:5 tells us that the love of God has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit. Now, we are no longer limited to or bound by human love; we can now operate in the super-natural love of God! Jesus did not come begrudgingly or out of a sense of duty to do the Father’s will-He gladly came to do the will of His Father-and our Father. The love of God is all encompassing; not only does His love cause us to keep His word because that is what we want to do, it also means that when we are walking in His love, Jesus and the Father comes to us and makes their abode with us!! Wow! Can we even begin to imagine the implications of the love of God being poured into our hearts? Can we grasp the fact that even while we are at the present mortal beings in flesh and bones, we have the Spirit of God living in us, revealing to us the love of God? Can we grasp the fact that God has transformed us if we belong to Him? This love of God is powerful; it enables us respond to all situations as God would respond; it enables us not to be offended when treated wrong; it allows us to see beyond the failures and faults of others; and it means we can be encouragers and ones who lift others up. Most importantly, the love of God works in us in such a way that it becomes our greatest desire to do the things that please Him. Finally, His love covers us when we fall; in His love, He allows us to repent when and if we sin, and His forgiveness and grace is unending-and amazingly, this is how we can respond to others when they stumble. Think about it!
1 John 2:5-6, 4:7-8 “but whoever keeps His word in him the love of God has truly been perfected. By this we know that we are in Him; the one who says he abides in Him ought himself to walk in the same manner as He walked.”   “Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. The one who does not love does not know God, for God is love.”
