NEWNESS  OF  LIFE

December 31, 2019                               NEWNESS  OF  LIFE
Romans 6:4 “just as Jesus Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.”
2 Corinthian 5:17 “If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.”
The Greek word for ‘newness’ means a total renewal, not simply refurbished, updated, or improved. Until we discover our true identity in Him-that we are new creations with new hearts, new spirits, and new minds-we will not experience this newness of life on a daily basis. It may be difficult for us to grasp the reality that we are not who we use to be; we find ourselves somehow trying to blend who we use to be with who we are in Christ-and that leads to defeat and frustration, and it wears on us. We understand that Jesus was physically raised from the dead, but perhaps we do not see that before our salvation, we were spiritually dead; but when we accepted Christ as Savior, we were raised from spiritual death to life in Christ-we were made alive spiritually for the first time. Some make the mistake of trying to separate our spiritual being from our physical being, or compartmentalize the two. The truth is that our new life in Christ impacts our physical life, and not only impacts, but should be the ‘driving force’ in our lives. This newness of life touches every aspect of our life; all we now do can be done with a sense of newness. It may sound extreme-but we can even wash the dishes or carry out the garbage with a sense of newness! The foundational awareness of our life, our dominate perspective, should be that we have been raised from spiritual death, have been made new, are sons and daughters of God, have been set free from the power of sin, that God has poured His love into our hearts, and have been made overcomers in this life. Now, everything we do can be done ‘as unto the Lord.’ Walking in newness does not mean a life free of problems and trials, but it does mean that rather than being discouraged or defeated by them, we overcome them, and we experience His strength in such times. No doubt, we at times may momentarily lose this sense of newness-but the good news is that we have the power to speak to ourselves about who we are in Christ and direct our soul, our spirit, to be renewed. Our words have power. As Peter Parris has said, “We need to speak to ourselves more than we listen to ourselves.” Again, we are in error if we segment our spiritual life and our physical, or natural life; even though we are both spiritual and physical, all that we do should flow out of the new spirit that God has given us. What a blessing it is to be able at any age and under any circumstance to live with a sense of newness that comes with knowing God as Father and being filled with His Spirit. God is all about newness and freshness; nothing about God is mundane. Sure, we live in the routines of life and we all face challenges, BUT GOD has made provision for us to walk in newness of life-‘old things have passed away and all things have become new!’
Ephesians 4:24 “and put on the new self, which in the likeness of God has been created in righteousness and holiness of truth.”

PAY  CLOSE  ATTENTION

December 28, 2019                                         PAY  CLOSE  ATTENTION
Hebrews 2:1: “For this reason we must pay closer attention to what we have heard, lest we drift away from it.”
Before Jesus came, God spoke through the prophets in many ways according to Hebrews 1:2. Now, God has spoken to us in His Son whom He appointed heir of all things. The fact that God, the creator of the universe, sent His Son to talk to His people is, as they say-mind boggling.  This being the case, surely man would pay close attention and would cling to every word that Jesus spoke. God, being our creator, knows exactly what we need and only He knows what brings fulfillment in life. God has written the ultimate owner’s manual on how to live life. God desires that we experience full, overflowing life and Jesus is the one who holds the keys to life-a life of purpose and fulfillment.  Yet, because of the fallen nature of man, man cannot and does not in his fallen state receive the council and wisdom of God. Only as one puts his faith and trust in God; only when he is reconciled to God; can he know God and only then can he experience life as it was intended to be lived. We must not make the mistake of thinking that living the life that God has for His people is automatic. It is possible for believers to become dull of hearing and thus drift away from what God has spoken and Hebrews is a warning to us about drifting from all that Jesus accomplished on the cross on our behalf. There is a type of fear that is healthy and having a healthy fear of drifting from God is certainly a good kind of fear. In Hebrews 2:3 we read: “how shall we escape if we neglect so great a salvation?”  Again in Hebrews 3:13-14 we find another warning: “But encourage one another, day after day, as long as it is still called Today, lest anyone of you be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin. For we have become partakers of Christ, if we hold fast the beginning of our assurance firm until the end;”  Satan’s  plans and schemes have the goal of deceiving man just as he did in the garden of Eden with his first encounter with man. God has done a wonderful work; He has called us to be His own; He has revealed Himself to us; He has made us new; He has given His Spirit to live in us; and He has made us His own. We live in a world of turmoil and we have to deal with the effects of the sin that come as a result of man rejecting God. However, we can live in peace and we can live in the light as God’s people. God extends us a wonderful invitation-He invites us to enter into His rest. Again, entering His rest is not automatic-it is possible not to enter His rest. In Hebrews 4:1-2 we read: “THERFORE, let us fear lest, while a promise remains of entering His rest, any one of you should seem to have come short of it. For indeed we have had good news preached to us, just as they also; but the word they heard did not profit them, because it was not united by faith in those who heard.” Knowing God, walking with God, and enjoying God, is an active process. Our faith is to be active. Hourly, daily we are to be “fully engaged” with what God is doing-conscious of His presence. No matter what we are doing, we find rest when we living according to His design. So, let each of us pay close attention and let us not neglect our great salvation.
1 Peter 1:3-5: “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His great mercy has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to obtain an inheritance which is imperishable and undefiled and will not fade away, reserved in heaven for you, who are protected by the power of God through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.”
1 Peter 1:13: “Therefore gird your mind for action, keep sober in spirit, fix your hope completely on the grace to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ.”

PARTICIPATION  IN  THE  GOSPEL

December 28, 2019                         PARTICIPATION  IN  THE  GOSPEL
Philippians 1:3-5 “I thank my God in all remembrance of you, always offering prayer with joy in my every prayer for you all, in view of your participation in the gospel from the first day until now.”
Every believer has the opportunity to participate in the gospel-not just those in ‘full-time ministry.’ Actually, when we understand God’ call in our lives and His plans and purposes for us, we realize that we are all in full-time ministry. As Paul, in prison at the time of this writing, thought about the believers at Philippi, he was blessed as he remembered how they responded to and how they were engaged in the gospel that he proclaimed to them while with them. From reading the first chapter in Philippians, we know that the gospel impacted them in specific ways. We know that as they received the gospel, they began to love one another with the love of God and it was Paul’s prayer that their love would abound more and more. In verses 9-10, we see that as these believers embraced the gospel and began to love one another with the love of God, God gave ‘real knowledge and all discernment.’ Also, as the believers grew and abounded in this love of God, they desired and pursued the things that are ‘excellent.’ It is a mystery, and a miracle, what all takes place in the lives of believers when they gladly receive the message of the gospel-when they become participants in the gospel; being a spectator believer is not what God has in mind for us. Some may find a sense of satisfaction in just reading the gospel, listening to good messages, attending church meetings, but yet not be actively living out the gospel, not being transformed by the gospel, and not being expressions of the gospel in the work place, in the home or wherever they go. Becoming a believer is the beginning of a journey; a journey of being transformed and growing in the grace and knowledge of God, a journey of becoming expressions of the nature of God in us. The journey is not without trials, but because of the power of God at work in us, we can be overcomers in the tough times; overcoming trials is one way of participating in the gospel. The life of the believer is not to be stagnant; it’s tragic for us as believers if we come to a place where we become use to living, not conscience of the power of God in us or His work in us. We are called to action, to walk by the Spirit, to resist the enemy, to do the things that are pleasing to the Lord, to die to ourselves, to love one another, to study to show ourselves approved unto God, to encourage, to exercise our spiritual gifting, etc. (not weary verse) Let us never get use to a sub-standard life, a life of not actively participating in the gospel.
Galatians 6:9 “And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap, if we do not lose heart.”
Philippians 2:12-13 “So then, my beloved, just as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling; for it is God who is at work in you, both to will and to work for His good pleasure.”
James 1:22 “But prove yourselves doers of the word, and not merely hearers who delude themselves.”

HE  GAVE

12/22/2019

December 22, 2019                                        HE  GAVE
John 3:16 “For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.”
2 Corinthians 7b “for God loves a cheerful giver.”
Luke 6:38a “Give, and it will be given to you.”
Proverbs 18:16 “A generous person will prosper; whoever refreshes others will be refreshed.”
Even though in my opinion, Christmas has become greatly over-commercialized, the idea of giving remains the main theme of the season. If you and I can find ways to minimize the commercialization of Christmas, that would be a positive step for sure, but we do not to need to take away the idea of being givers. We need to resist the idea that we are to be about ‘getting’ and embrace the idea that we are to be about blessing and giving. Giving is God’s idea-He is the original giver. When we come to know God, He imparts His nature to us-gives us a new nature-and giving becomes a core part of us. (It is critical that we know our true identity in Him if we are to be expressions of His nature.) There are endless ways of giving and some gifts we give require an expenditure of money, but some of the most genuine gifts, and the gifts that bless the most cannot be purchased at the store or on-line.  Some intangible gifts may include simply spending time with someone, writing a note of encouragement, enjoying a cup of coffee together, giving a helping hand, etc. The point is, let us be people who give, because that is what God does. God not only gave His Son, the supreme gift, that we might be reconciled to Him, He is always giving; He gives grace, He gives hope, He gives direction, He gives wisdom, He gives forgiveness, He gives life, and the list goes on-forever. As we see in the above verse, God “loves a cheerful giver.” What blesses God is for His people to enjoy giving; He is not so concerned as to what we give as long as we give out of a cheerful heart; we will be generous in our giving when we give when we cheerfully give. (Concerning monetary gifts, for some, a gift of 10.00 is generous while for some a gift of 1,000.00 is generous.) Spending time with a with someone who is home bound-or whatever-is a generous gift. The verse above in Proverbs is a tremendous promise to us. Those who are generous will prosper in the truest sense of the word-maybe not financially-it may include that, but more importantly, they will prosper in their spirit and will experience joy. And, ‘those who refresh others will themselves be refreshed.’ Let us examine our own hearts to determine if are a cheerful giver; if not, then let us confess that to the Lord and ask Him to work in us in such a way that we discover the joy of giving. Let us not wait until the ‘mood to give hits us,’ but let us put on the new person that God has created us to be and start being the cheerful giver.
Proverbs 5:24-25 “One gives freely, yet grows all the richer; another withholds what he should give, and only suffers want. Whoever brings blessing will be enriched, and one who waters will himself be watered.”

GOOD  NEWS  OF  GREAT  JOY

12/19/2019

December 19, 20109                       GOOD  NEWS  OF  A  GREAT  JOY
Luke 2:8-10,14 “And in the same region there were some shepherds staying out in the fields, and keeping watch over their flock by night. And as angel of the Lord suddenly stood before them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terribly frightened. And the angel said to them, ‘Do not be afraid; for behold, I bring you good news of a great joy which shall be for all the people.’”  ‘”Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace among men with whom He is pleased.’”
Because of familiarity, it is possible, if not likely, that we read verses surrounding the birth of Jesus with a ‘ho-hum’ approach-like ‘I know all about the birth of Jesus.’ It is good that we know about His birth, but at the same time, we need to not lose the freshness, the glory, and the impact of the Son of God being born in a lowly manger-the story should never grow old to us. In all of human history, starting with Adam and Eve, this one event, the birth of Jesus, is the single greatest event of all times. The birth of Jesus, and the sinless life He lived and His giving of Himself as the sacrifice for the sins of man, is the one thing that reconciled man to God. The birth of Jesus meant that mankind was not doomed to be separated from God and doomed for hail, but instead, could enjoy fellowship with God in this life, and spend eternity with God. The birth of Jesus, was not just celebrated on earth, but it brought ‘Glory to God in the highest.’ The ‘good news of great joy’ was that man could now be reconciled to God-and that is indeed great news for you and me. It is difficult, if not impossible, to comprehend God becoming man in the person of Jesus-that Mary actually carried the Son of God in her womb! Someone put this in real life perspective and gave a clear picture of God becoming a man when they made the statement that ‘Jesus at one time wore diapers.’ Man did not find God; man was lost, but God reached down to man. So it is with us, we cannot find God or work our way to Him; only by receiving Jesus as the Son of God who came to redeem us, can we be reconciled to God. If not careful, we can let the cares of this world, the disappointments, and etc. rob us of the good news that the angels proclaimed to all mankind. Note the phrase in the verse above-“peace among men with whom He is pleased.” God is not against us, it is not His desire to rob us of life; He loves us and His desire is that we experience the abundant life that comes only from Him; the life Adam and Eve enjoyed before the fall is the life that God had in mind. By rejecting God, man sentences himself to a life separated from God and all of His blessings. Whatever our circumstances may be at the present, let us focus on the really good news-that Jesus, the Son of God, took on flesh and blood, was born in a stable, lived a sinless life and gave His life for you and I that our sins might be forgiven and that we might enjoy a relationship with Him-that is what Christmas is all about. Let us enjoy the season of joy and celebration, the season of giving-not just at Christmas, but as a way of life.
Luke 2:11 “Today, in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; He is the Messiah, the Lord.”

WHO'S  LEADING  ?

12/16/2019

December 16, 2019                                    WHO’S  LEADING ?
Romans 8:12-14 “So then, brethren, we are under obligation, not to the flesh, to live according to the flesh-for if you are living according to the flesh, you must die, but if by the Spirit you are putting to death the deeds of the body, you will live. For all who are being led by the Spirit of God, these are the sons of God.”
We are all following, or being guided by someone. That someone may be someone we admire and respect, it may our boss, or our pastor, or someone who we deem as being successful, etc. The truth is, that it may appear that we are following one or more of these individuals, but it is really self that we are following. For example, we may be following the one who has made it in this world-who is ‘successful’-because we want the same success. We may follow the pastor, because we perceive that he is close to God-and there is where we want to be. After all said and done, we are either following the Spirit of God in us, are we are following self-the things we want. No doubt, self can be about some good deeds, such as feeding the hungry, etc., but it is still self that is being satisfied and self gets the credit. As we see in the verses above, as believers, we have two choices of living; we either live according to the flesh or according to the Spirit. Basically, living according to the flesh is living according to our own dictates, what we want, what we think will make us ‘happy.’ Living according to the Spirit means that we have died to, or laid aside our self and are following the leading of the Spirit of God who indwells us. In fact, it is only by the power of the Spirit in us that we can lay aside our old self-that we can ‘put to death the deeds of the body.’ Now, the blessing is that contrary to the natural inclinations of self, when we lay aside self-we live! This is a mystery-when we die, we live. God wants us to live-not limited to life in the flesh-but live according to His plans and purposes and according to His definition of life. John 10:10 is a tremendous truth we must grasp: “The thief only comes to steal, kill, and destroy. I came that they may have life, and may have it more abundantly.” Paul tells us that if we are living according to the flesh, we must die-meaning that we must die to self if we are to live according to the Spirit. The last part of the verse above is a sobering statement, saying that those who are being led by the Spirit of God are the sons of God. We must never take lightly this matter of who we are following-our ‘flesh’ (self) or the Spirit of God. We do not have to live according to the flesh; we can live according to the Spirit and live.
Romans 8:5-6 “For those who are according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who are according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. For the mind set on the flesh is death, but the mind set on the Spirit is life and peace.”

DO  YOU  NOT  KNOW

12/13/2019

December 13, 2019                              DO  YOU  NOT  KNOW
1 Corinthians 3:16, 6:19 “Do you not know that you are a temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?”  “Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and that you are not your own?”
These two verses highlight two truths we must know in our inner man if we are to live as believers according to the desires and plans of God. First, we must know that GOD dwells in us and that our body is a temple of the Holy Spirit. That sounds simple enough-but have we yet grasped the awesome truth that the creator God lives IN US? I am not sure we will fully grasp this truth and the impact of it until we are with the Lord in heaven, but at least to some degree we can grasp it, and even as we begin to understand it, life takes on new meaning. Seeing ourselves as a temple of God affects how we perceive ourselves-our physical bodies and our spirit; since we are the temple of God, the choices we make concerning our bodies and our spirit should reflect this amazing truth. Obviously, we are to never ‘worship’ our physical bodies as apparently many do, but we are to be good stewards of our physical bodies, and we also must nourish and keep our spirit in good health. It is no doubt that the spiritual is more important than the physical, but the spiritual is to impact the physical. Romans 6:10-11 makes this truth clear: “The Spirit of God, who raised Jesus from the dead, lives in you. And just as God raised Christ Jesus from the dead, He will give life to your mortal bodies by this same Spirit living within you.” The second truth we must embrace is ‘that we are not our own.’ This truth is the acid test of our walk with the Lord; we are called to die to self, to abandon ourselves-our life- fully to the Lord and live under His lordship. From our heart, we must desire His ways more than our ways. Not being our own means that our trust and our allegiance to Him is the main thing in our lives. God wants us to experience life to the fullest, but that is possible only when we die to our preferences and embrace the Lord and His ways with all of our hearts. As believers, we can live primarily focused on our lives; we can even be focused what we must do if we are to be ‘good’ Christians-that’s still the self-life. The scriptures are clear; we are called to die to self and to live as fit temples of the Holy Spirit. Let us daily die to ourselves, knowing that we are not our own. Who are we living for? Ourselves or for Him?
Galatians 2:20 “I have been crucified with Christ, and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me.”
Romans 12:1 “Therefore I urge you, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship.”

NO  LONGER  A  SLAVE

12/10/2019

December 10, 2019                                     NO  LONGER  A  SLAVE
Galatians 4:6-7 “And because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into our hearts, crying “Abba! Father!” Therefore you are no longer a slave, but a son; and if a son, then an heir through God.”
This one verse, when believed and received personally as true, solves the identity crisis and gives us the right perspective in life. Those who are sons and daughters of God are indeed privileged. All who do not know God as Lord and Savior are slaves; slaves to living life according to their own limited understanding, and slaves to sin. God came to save us, even to save us from ourselves. By receiving Jesus as Savior and Lord, we become sons and daughters, and as such, God sends forth the Spirit of His Son into our hearts. One of the greatest works of the Spirit in us is that of revealing to us that God is our Father! The word “Abba” is used as a term of endearment and intimacy and knowing God as Father in a personal way. We may know in our mind, and believe that God is our Father, but when the Spirit reveals this truth to us in the deepest part of our being, everything changes-and changes for the better! As sons and daughters, we have a rich inheritance in God, and the good news is that we do not have to wait until we die and get to heaven to receive our inheritance-it starts now and will continue throughout eternity-our inheritance will never be exhausted! I shared in a previous blog about how on one particular night, as I looked up to admire a beautiful star filled night sky, I heard in my spirit what I knew without a doubt was a word from God. What I heard was: “The God that made those stars is your Father.” Had you asked me years before that particular night if I believed that God was my Father, I would have said ‘of course I know that.’ That night when the Holy Spirit revealed to me that God is my real Father, everything changed. I suddenly realized that since GOD IS MY FATHER, what do I have to fear or what do I have to worry about? NOTHING! Many believers still live as slaves, not knowing or experiencing life as a son or daughter of God, not enjoying the inheritance that is theirs. The gospel truth is that we are no longer orphans and slaves to self and sin; we have been made sons and daughters of God and our inheritance has already began. Let us focus on, let it be the chief desire of our heart to know God as Abba Father. If and when that is our desire, we can be assured that the Spirit will begin to reveal to us that God is our Father. The Spirit of His Son has already been sent forth into our hearts.
Luke 12:32 “Do not be afraid, little flock, for your Father has been pleased to give you the kingdom.”
1 John 3:1 “Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called the children of God.”
John 20:17b “I ascend to My Father and your Father, and My God and your God.”

WHOEVER  DRINKS

12/7/2019

December 7, 2019                                 WHOEVER  DRINKS
John 4:13-14 “Jesus answered and said to her, “Everyone who drinks of this water shall thirst again; but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst again; but the water that I shall give him shall become in him a well of water springing up to eternal life.”
Obliviously, Jesus was not talking about physical water in His dialogue with the woman at the well, even though she had come to draw water from the well. In this verse, Jesus makes an amazing statement and an amazing promise to those who come to Him. When we drink a glass of water, our thirst is satisfied-for a while-but we soon thirst again. The water that Jesus gives satisfies, and keeps on satisfying-the water He gives becomes a well of water springing up in us! There is a ‘thirst’ in man that goes beyond thirsting for physical water. Man is continually looking for ways to satisfy this thirst; he thinks that by getting ‘this or that,’ or doing ‘this or that,’ or can achieve certain recognition, etc., he will be satisfied. When man finds something that seems to satisfy this innate thirst that he has, it does not last-he soon begins to search again for something else to satisfy this thirst. The things of God do not make sense to the one who does not know Him, but those who know Him for who He truly is, the power and wisdom of God become real, impacting their life in miraculous ways. To the one who does not know Him, the idea of ‘drinking water’ that Jesus gives, makes no sense. Jesus often used the physical or natural things to teach spiritual truths. When one comes to know God through His Son and all that was accomplished on the cross, he becomes a new creation with the ability to understand spiritual truths. One of the basic truths about God is that He alone satisfies the longing that is in the heart of man. The invitation to ‘Come to Jesus’ sounds quite simple, yet, it is the greatest invitation one could receive. If we have put our faith in Jesus, we have the Holy Spirit in us revealing the truth of the gospel and as we learn of Jesus, we discover that this deep longing of our heart is satisfied. It is God’s desire that we know Him, not know about Him. Let us be continually coming to Him and drinking of the water that He offers-He fills the void. Simply put, the water that Jesus offers is found only when our heart turns to Him and we seek Him first.
John 7:38 “He that believeth in Me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.”
Isaiah 58:11 “And the Lord will guide you continually and satisfy your desire in scorched places and make your bones strong; and you shall be like a watered garden, like a spring of water, whose waters do not fall.”

ALIVE  TO  GOD

12/4/2019

December 4, 2019                                     ALIVE  TO  GOD
Romans 6:11 “Even so consider yourselves to be dead to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus.”
We hear a lot about dying to self and crucifying the flesh-and those are necessary truths to understand if we are to live in victory. The other side of the coin that we may not hear as much is that we can experience being “alive to God.” In this world we are constantly bombarded with all that is wrong and if not alert to the Spirit within us, we find ourselves living under the weight of all that’s wrong; we become weary and quietly adopt the mentality that ‘That is just the way it is.’ The ways of the world are a joy-killer for sure. I think of the story of the frog; they say that if you put a frog in a pot of cool water and gradually increase the heat, he will not jump out, but will die in the hot water. We cannot escape the fact that we live in a fallen world; scripture makes it clear that even though we are in the world, we are not of the world. John 17:16. To know that we are not of the world is the difference maker. If we do not know our true identity in the Lord according to His word, we will always be facing an uphill battle in trying to live as God intends. What is our true identity in the Lord? Who are we really? Let’s take a minute and simply list a few of our traits as children of God, or descriptions of what it means to be in Christ. To start, we have been made new creations with new hearts, new minds, and new spirits-we were not refurbished. All of our sins have been forgiven and the power of sin has been broken. We can now walk according to the Spirit, and not according to the flesh. We can think like God; we have the mind of Christ. God has poured His love into our hearts-now we can love as He loves. The Holy Spirt lives in us to guide us, correct us, and equip us, and empower us to live according to the plans and purposes of God. We can renew our mind. We can overcome evil with good and bless those who curse us. We can speak words of encouragement and meet pressing needs. In the darkest hour, the hope we have does not diminish. Because He lives in us, we are overcomers who overcome the darkness and the evil that surrounds us. The gospel is good news. If we are not experiencing being ‘alive to God,’ let us confess that to God and then ask Him work in us in such a way that we begin to live this Christian life as He designed and become aware of our being alive in Him. We need the Holy Spirit revealing to us the truth of the gospel. “He came that we might have life.” John 10:10.
Ephesians 1:18 “I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened, so that you will know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints,”
Romans 6:4 “just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.”
